Welcome to the new Sauk Village Mayor's website!
With today’s technology, citizens are accessing information on their Android phones, iPhones, and iPads, as well as laptops and computers.
This new website design allows for that so you can access the information you need, when you need it, and on the device you are most comfortable with.
The goal is to provide information as quickly, efficiently, and reliably as possible. This website provides a customer-friendly and informative experience for the residents of Sauk Village.
The Village will continue to improve its current website by updating departmental information, re-organizing the navigation structure and web links, evaluating, and assessing how the site is being used. In addition, more video options are planned to be introduced in the future.

Mayor David A. Hanks serves as the Executive Officer of the Village of Sauk Village. As the communities chief administrator and official representative, the Mayor is responsible for the general management of the Town and for seeing that all laws and ordinances are enforced. Administrative duties include the appointments, with Council approval, of department heads and persons serving on advisory boards.
As Executive Officer, the Mayor signs all motions, resolutions and ordinances passed by the Council. The Mayor also serves a legislative function, presiding over the Council with limited voting privileges. The Mayor is responsible for advising the Council of the Town's financial condition and presents to Council an annual budget for approval.
